WTC Communications provides tenants with the systems to connect into the office complex's sophisticated telephone system and its fibre optic backbone.

TELEPHONE SERVICES
The World Trade Centre office complex has a shared tenant telephone system made up of a NEC NEAX 2400 IPX telephone switch coupled to a NEAXMail AD-64 Voicemail System and Genesis Call Accounting System. The tenants' telephone service is distributed throughout the building using a structured wiring system. The fully featured telephone system can provide from 1 to several thousand lines supported by an extensive features list. A bank of telephone numbers is in reserve to allow quick turn up of telephone service for tenants who do not have existing telephone numbers. The voicemail system permits tenants to retrieve their messages either inside or outside of the office and has large system capabilities, i.e. auto attendant and information trees.

Competitive long distance is offered with detailed telephone usage reports printed from the call accounting system, for tenants to monitor the telephone line usage on an employee or project basis.
